During the pandemic, due to the quarantine, people were forced to distance themselves from each other, but in general, there was a more fundamental loneliness in this isolation: Existential loneliness: an abyss between people that cannot be bridged.

The sound of streams fading away and the green of the trees disappearing - in the land where I spent my childhood - is like the shattering of a dream and the life that burns deep in my soul.
Baronaq is a collection created using gelatin printing and contains photos taken from the village of Baronagh (an area near Kashan). At the moment of writing this text, even the timbers from the trunks of these trees have been sold and the land is bare.

In 1926, Martin Heidegger pondered on the question of how thinking of death can save a man. He concluded that noticing death elevates us from one aspect of existence to a higher one. He believed in two aspects of life: the forgetful existence, and the state of contemplating existence. When in the forgetful state, people live in the world of things and drown themselves in their daily routine; but when they start thinking of death and life, their appreciation of life begins. In the Eco print Technique, we observe the effect of the life and death of plants at the same time.

Being in the present moment means that we are aware of what is happening in each moment. We are focused in the here and now and all our attention is directed to the present moment. The present moment is between the past and the future. And focusing on the experience of living in the present moment, increases the pleasure of life, since if we have lived life to the fullest, there is nothing left for death.
It is the summer noon, the image of the present moment.
